6:00 - 9:00 p.m. - Austin‘s longest running free concert series is in its 67th year! Showcasing the music and culture of Austin’s Mexican, Mexican-American, Chicano, and Latino/a/e/x communities, this is a much loved tradition in East Austin. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and coolers and gather on the outdoor "hillside” next to the Pan Am Recreation Center, 2100 E 3rd Street, Austin, 78702. This is a community event; LWVAA will be registering voters.

2:00 - 3:00 p.m. (online) - The Supreme Court is poised to hand down rulings in key cases that will affect millions of people’s lives, including access to healthcare, education, and political representation. The Brennan Center will host a virtual conversation with Supreme Court experts about the Court’s decisions this term and what they mean for the rule of law at a time when democracy is under strain. This discussion will provide essential context for how the Court is working today. Note: This is an educational event not affiliated with LWVAA.

Community Event: Airwaves & Outreach
5:00 - 9:00 p.m. - TexPop ATX and KOOP Community Radio present a community-centered event where local non-profiets showcase their work, connect with the public, and share opportunities to get involve. TexPop ATX, 1516 S. Lamar, Austin, 78704. Note: This is a community event; LWVAA plans to participate.
3:00 - 5:00 p.m. (in person & livestream) - Teach-in on the Declaration of Independence delivered by Professor Bryan Register. In addition, civil rights lawyers will deliver a short section on knowing your rights. Can’t make it or heightened immigration risk? Austin Public Library Pleasant Hill Branch, 211 E.
