Research candidates and issues on your ballot.

  • Go to Vote411, the League’s voters guide for nonpartisan information on candidates and ballot issues. 
  • Or download the Voters Guide from our website.
  • During Federal elections, the League supplies printed nonpartisan Voters Guides at area libraries.
  • You may bring a copy of the Voters Guide to the polls.
  • You may not use your phone at the polls, so print out or write out a list of your selections.

Travis and Williamson Counties have county wide voting centers!

  • Voters who live in counties with county wide voting centers may vote at any voting center, in the county where they live, during Early Voting and on Election Day.

What time are the voting centers open?

  • On Election Day, Texas polling sites are open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. 
  • Check with your county election office  for hours during early voting. 

The League of Women Voters highly recommends voting during Early Voting.

Read a printed copy of your Voters Guide while you wait in line.

  • Show your ID and sign in.
  • Go to the voting machines.
  • Travis County uses touch screen voting machines with a backup paper ballot.
  • Select each candidate you are voting for or select for or against each proposition.
  • Re check your selections then press print.
  • Insert your paper ballot into the ballot scanner.
  • Take a voting sticker. Step outside and post a selfie. Encourage your friends to vote!
