Austin area students in elementary school (grades 1- 5), middle school (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12)

Original visual artwork or written work illustrating or discussing "what makes a strong community." Written pieces may be in the form of an essay, poem, or fictional work of no more than 500 words. Visual artwork may be in the from of a painting, drawing, screen print, or photograph with a size limit of 24 in x 36 in.

A $150 Amazon gift card will be given to winners within each age group (up to six total awards). Winners will be recognized at the 2025 Friends & Family Spring Festival.

• Use this form register your participation and complete the consent form (a parent or guardian will complete for students under 18).
• Create your written work or artwork illustrating “what makes a strong community?”
• Email your submission by midnight on March 2, 2025 to picturethis@lwvaustin.org.
• Visual artwork may be photographed or scanned and sent as a jpg, png or pdf file.
