Austin, Texas – Before early voting for the March 3 primary election begins, the League of Women Voters of the Austin Area (LWVAA) is releasing its nonpartisan
Voters Guide. Beginning February 6, voters can view the
Guide as a PDF in English and Spanish at
lwvaustin.org/Voters-Guide, and view a personalized Voters Guide at
VOTE411.org. Copies of the printed Voters Guide will be found inserted in
The Austin Chronicle on February 6 and distributed to libraries, HEB stores, and other sites across the Austin area.
"Texas has open primaries, which means all Texas voters can participate.” said Debbi Voss, co-president of LWVAA. “Voters in the primary elections decide who will be on the November ballot. If you want a say in the final choices, this is where it starts. LWVAA is pleased to provide this important, nonpartisan resource to Austin voters. We encourage voters to visit
lwvaustin.org/Voters-Guide and
VOTE411.org to make a voting plan so they are prepared to cast their vote confidently on Election Day.”
