Join the volunteer team behind the League's summer-long GOTV campaign -- block parties with a mock election on real
Travis County voting machines. Coming up next is the Paws to the Polls at Central Health & Wellness Southeast on Thursday, August 13, 2026, 10:00am-12:00pm. Be part of the team setting up, putting out signage, making & serving popcorn, giving out voter information, helping kids design campaign posters, and giving out prizes on the spinning wheel civics game, registering voters, handling AV, and cleaning it all up. We're excited to be at Central Health during their weekly farmers market.
Kona Ice, popcorn, games and activities for kids, video stump speeches from our candidates Gus the Cat and Franklin the Dog, voter information and registration, a great sound track. Campaign banners for our candidates, a step&repeat backdrop with cutouts of the Dog and Cat available for props. Paws to the Polls is an all-hands-on-deck campaign in 7 venues around
Travis County in preparation for the mid-term elections. No experience necessary, just enthusiasm for one of our most ambitious League projects.
