Hands Off Central TX, in partnership with the League of Women Voters of the Austin Area, presents Election Protection Activation: a two-hour workshop to get you informed and activated to help protect the midterm election.

We'll cover what's normal at the polls — and what is NOT. We'll talk about

• Who to call if something seems "off" at the polling place, and what kind of rapid response makes sense in different situations
• The differences between a poll watcher, a poll observer, and a poll worker
• What a VDR is, how to become one, and where to find one when you need one -- this will not be a VDR certification event, but you'll get information on how to become certified and how to volunteer at voter registration events
