Paws to the Polls Drop-In: Yard Signs & Flyers
About this event

LWVAA and the Travis County Clerk's office are helping Travis County get ready for the midterms by throwing a series of Paws to the Polls block parties throughout the summer. These family-friendly events will feature a mock election between Gus the Cat and Franklin the Dog. New and future voters will have the chance to research their ballots using special editions of our nonpartisan Voters Guide and our online resource, VOTE411. People can then vote for the candidate of their choice using real voting machines from the Travis County Clerk's office. Remember that for this very special election, the polls are open to everyone 8 years old and up!
Help us spread the word by putting up a yard sign or two in your neighborhood, or by asking local businesses to post flyers or set out informational material. LWVAA has everything you need -- swing by the League office during drop in hours and we'll fix you up!
