6:00pm - Doors open and attendees can choose their own adventure for the first hour.
** Learn about the League of Women Voters Austin Area at our New Member Orientation in the Agard Lovinggood Lecture Hall
** Network with attendees over snacks and drinks at the Davage-Durden Student Union
** Discover ways to volunteer and help Make Democracy Work at our volunteer fair in the Davage-Durden Student Union
7:00pm - Join us in the Agard Lovinggood Lecture Hall
** Emily Eby, Senior Election Protection Attorney and Policy Counsel for the Texas Civil Rights Project, will show how we can help all voters overcome voter suppression and become empowered through knowledge and action.
** LWV-AA Board will share with attendees the League's program of Making Democracy Work for the next year.

We are hosting the event at Huston-Tillotson and will be following the Huston-Tillotson guidelines for Covid-19 and Monkeypox safety at community events: https://htu.edu/safeandhealthyrams
The League will be setting up the space in order to allow for distancing among attendees, and food will be in a separate area from the main auditorium. Signage will be posted regarding where food will be allowed.
The speaking portion of the event will be live streamed via Zoom and the recording will be made available after the event on our YouTube channel. Please join us virtually if you feel sick or experience any symptoms.
